Pets are such an important part of our lives – it’s natural to want to know they’re alright after they’ve passed. They’ll always be in your heart and that love and connection continues on always and forever.
The grief that comes from losing a pet is an opportunity for change, to see the whole world differently – starting with the magic of signs.
Signs from pets in the afterlife are everywhere and when you’re missing a pet on the other side receiving one can really help provide some reassurance that all is well and they’re still with you.
If you think you got one, it’s very likely you did! Don’t dismiss it or go down that path of doubt, instead fill your heart right up with love and say “thank you” in acknowledgement of whatever came through for you.
Not only does this make you feel good, it expresses your openness to receive –> and encourages your pet to send more signs and symbols! (yay!) After all they want nothing more than for you to believe they’re there.
There are so many ways that your pet in spirit can send you signs, but if you don’t know what to look for, you may not even realise what you’re missing. So let’s go ahead and take a look at some examples below.
1. You see them
You may briefly see them out the corner of your eye, a quick flash, but as you turn your head there’s nothing there.
2. You Hear them
That may be their tippy-tappy toes on the laminate floor or stairs, a scratch at the door, jingle of their collar or even a meow.
3. You feel their presence
You may feel your pet lying next to you, brushing past your leg or jumping up on your bed.
4. You smell them
That’s right! You can even catch a wiff of their scent in the air.
5. Songs on the radio
The song you’ll hear is usually one that resonates with you or that you heard just after your pet passed.
6. Popping into your thoughts
You may suddenly think of them or get a memory pop into your head unexpectedly out of nowhere.
7. You see them in your dreams
Pets in the afterlife visit you in your dreams! You’re far more open and receptive at this time so they have easier access to pop in and say hello.
8. Animals
You may find birds such as robins begin to cross your path frequently, they represent freedom. Butterflies that flutter around you catching your attention, encouraging you to embrace change. Ladybirds can visit too as a reminder to live life to the fullest.
9. You see your pet’s name repeatedly
Seeing your pet’s name multiple times in one day – in a variety of unrelated places and over a short period of time!
10. Rainbow
Seeing a rainbow is another sign to let you know they are okay.
11. A white feather
These are angel feathers letting you know your pet is safe and at peace, they usually turn up in unusual places in your home or outside or you are just drawn to a particular one – there’s just something about it.
As you can see, spirit have many ways to get their message across and make you aware of their presence. It can bring such comfort and help you feel close to your pet again, now they’re no longer physically here.
Your pet in spirit wants you to know that although they leave their body, they never leave you.
Your intuition will guide you in knowing when a sign is meant for you. You will feel it is so. Many of the signs above come in through your intuitive clair senses and you can read more about how your intuition helps you in this blog post.
